Mom holding Triton. He is doing good - keeping his own temperature and no extra lights. He can come home from the hospital once he no longer needs the feeding tube and can digest everything completely. Not sure when exactly, just sometime in the next several weeks. Posted by Hello

I was very touched with this blog, I loved it! I want to say that Triton has the greatest parents in the world. He is very lucky to have you both! I wish all the best for your family. A big kiss to a sweet baby...Triton! Congratulations, mom and dad! ;-)

Hi we heard about your blog from Luke's blog and wanted you to know that we are praying with you for the health of your little boy. He is so precious and looks so great!

It's even more amazing to think that we are going to be having a baby boy soon (due October 19th), shortly after your due date and to think that if we could see him he would look something like your little guy!

Bless you, we will pray for your new little addition to your family that he gets to come home soon. You can see our baby blog as well we have a family blog.

Bless you, Chris and Jenni, Aidan and (we're keeping the name a secret:) Burns.

I came across your blog tonight. This brings back members of my 1st son born 5 weeks early. He is now 4.5 years old and is one of the most social, healthy and active boys I know. We spent 2 weeks at the hospital with him while he slept in his little plastic condo with the cool velcro sun-glasses. I knew right away that he was a tough guy because he would rip his feed tube from his nose frequently. It's an exhausting time for you guys right now but it will all be a memory very soon. Triton will be 6 months tomorrow laughing at you and starting to communicate. Then he will be walking the next day. Followed by counting to 10 the following day. Best wishes to Triton and family for a quick release from the hospital so you can start your lives at home.

I am praying for Triton to develop quickly so that you may take this little bundle home soon. I, too, had a premie. My oldest son was 5 weeks early. He was 19" long and 5lbs 10oz. He is now 19 years old and 6'2"! I know it is scarey with that little of a baby, but I tried to look at it that God gave me a smaller one to enjoy a bit longer. I am believing in great things for Triton and complete and total great health. Blessings.

What a cutie!
My son was also born 6 weeks early (5lb 4oz, 19") and is now a healthy and happy 1-1/2 year old. I vividly remember the days of bili lights and isoletes, kangaroo care, and waiting for him to figure out how to eat/breathe/swallow on his own... hang in there, you'll be bringing him home before you know it!
Sending growing energy and prayers your way,
- Lisa D. (mom to Max and friend of Luke's dad)

Congratulations on your new baby! Triton is beautiful! Such a wonderful name too! I learned about Triton from Luke, and have been praying with you for Triton's speedy weight gain and release from the hospital. Enjoy your baby boy! I myself was born 11 weeks early, weighed 2 lb 11 oz, and that was 30 years ago. I am a normal adult, although I have had asthma all my life, but otherwise healthy. Your wonderful Triton will be strong and healthy before you know it! God bless y'all!

I can't get over how much he's changed. He keeps getting cuter and cuter by the day. I'm happy he no longer needs the feeding tube. My prayers are always with you guys. Love ya - Heather
